Yoga Information
Welcome to Embodyment Yoga. We are here to assist you on your path to whole fitness, so please feel free to contact us with any questions that you might have. For those who might be new to yoga, we have provided some helpful information and guidelines.
- Our entrance space is for gathering and socializing
- Our Yoga room is a sanctuary
- First time students should arrive 20 minutes early for registration and orientation
- Do not wear any scented products
- Turn off cell phones as you enter lobby
- Leave shoes in the cubbies provided in the vestibule and studio
- Bare feet only in the Yoga room
- Leave personal items in cubbies or your locked vehicle
- Hydrate! Drink adequate amounts of water. A general rule is to drink half of your body weight in ounces every day
- Replace electrolytes and other trace elements lost in perspiration
- Please eat 2-3 hours before class. Do not practice on an empty or full stomach
- Water only in the Yoga room (no glass bottles)
- Items permitted in Yoga room are mat, towels, water and other yoga equipment
- Bottled water, mats and towels are available for rent or sale
- Be on time for class. If you arrive late you may be admitted at the discretion of the teacher
- For your safety, stay in the Yoga room for the entire class
- Please allow yourself a final savasana for integration
- If you need to leave before the class ends, please alert the teacher prior to class beginning, and plan to exit quietly before savasana
- Ask for assistance whenever you need it
- Alert the teacher to any physical issues or injuries that you might be experiencing or recovering from
- Please stay home and coddle yourself if you are in an active phase of a "cold" the "flu" or other common illness
- Come with an open mind, heart and spirit
- Enjoy yourself!
